48.00This is for 4 weeks on Sundays: 20 June, 27 June, 11 July, 18 July. This gives the children a chance to develop their skills together and make friends.
FORMAT:
Playing Volleyball will help improve your kid’s flexibility, balance, and coordination. Focusing on good footwork and correct hand-eye coordination for touching the ball.Group aged (6-9y)
The earlier kids are introduced to the sport of volleyball, the more likely they are to develop the correct technique.
The aim of this program is to teach kids the basic skills in volleyball such as hand setting, digging, and hitting. Always having fun and playing other games and learning all the benefits of doing physical activity.
Group aged (10-14 y)
Our program emphasises teaching new skills, good sportsmanship, goal setting, teamwork and skills development in a fun atmosphere.
Children will have the opportunity to learn the basic volleyball fundamentals such as digging, setting, hitting and underarm serving in a non-competitive environment.
The aim of this program is to teach kids how to play in a game situation.

ENTRANCE: Come to the main park area in between the cafe and car park. We’ll have our bright yellow volleyball nets set up in the middle of the park.

FACILITIES: There are toilets and a cafe in the centre of the park, and some shops outside the park.
ARRIVAL: Arrive 5-10 minutes before the session start time to find the venue entrance, get to the sports hall, get changed and be ready to start promptly. Do not start practising or playing on court before the session start time.
SPECTATORS: Both the venue and our club rules are that there are no spectators. Friends/parents can go to a cafe nearby and return at the end of the session.
BASKETBALL HOOPS: No dunking, no hanging on the rim or net, no slamming the backboard. There is a zero tolerance policy to ensure that the hoops, net and backboard are not damaged.
SMOKING: No smoking or vaping anywhere on the venue grounds.
ALCOHOL: Please don't drink alcoholic drinks on-site, and don't come to play under the influence.
NUTS: Please don't bring or consume nuts or products containing nuts on-site.
ANIMALS: No dogs or other animals allowed on the venue grounds.
WHAT TO BRING:
Bring a large bottle of water. Depending on the weather, you can bring sunglasses, and a hoodie or raincoat.SAFETY:
– Check the Covid guidelines each time before playing.– For everyone's safety, please cut your fingernails short and remove all jewellery including wedding rings, bracelets, watches and fitness trackers.
