WHAT IS MEMBERSHIP

If you’re able to commit to playing regularly then we offer membership where you pay monthly and the cost per session works out cheaper for you, and it works out better for our club as we have a consistent number of players each week.

The membership is continuous, like a gym membership, although there is no minimum membership length so you can be a member for as long as you like. Just bear in mind that there is an initial joining fee so it’s worthwhile if you’re joining for at least 3 months.


WHAT TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP ARE THERE

There are 2 types of membership: single session membership and multi session membership. They both work out cheaper than paying our standard sports session rate of £12.

SINGLE SESSION MEMBERSHIP

What is it:
Single session membership allows you to join one fixed sports session and your place will be reserved there every week.

How do I book my place for each session:
You’ll be joining one fixed session and we’ll have your name on the list, so no need to book each week.

How much is membership:
It’s £42 per month, which works out at £9.70 per week. There is an initial joining fee of £42 with your first monthly payment.

Can I share the membership:
The single session membership is only valid for yourself. It’s non-transferrable so you can’t send someone to play instead of you.

Extra games:
If there’s another session of the same sport at the same venue on the same day, either directly before your session or directly after, and if we need players, then we may offer you an extra free game (only valid for basketball).

How does payment work:
Payments are due on the 14th of the month for the following month. So if the current month is July, your payment must be received by standing order (bank transfer) on 14th July for your August membership. If your payment is not received on time then your membership will end, we’ll no longer hold your place for you, and you’ll need to re-join as a new member including paying the joining fee, so please stay on top of this.

Session closure:
If we’re unable to run a session then we will offer single session members a game credit so they can book an alternative session, but there are no refunds in this case. If we’re unable to run 3 or more consecutive sessions then we will offer a partial refund of your membership payment, or game credits if you prefer to play at a different session.


MULTI SESSION MEMBERSHIP

What is it:
Multi session membership allows you to play at whichever sports session you want (costing up to £12), any sport on any day, although you can only book in at a suitable skill level. If any sports event costs more than £12 then you will just pay the difference.

Multi session memberships are not tied to any particular sports session, even if you play there regularly, and there’s no guarantee that you’ll get a place at any particular sports sessions on any given week. So you should book as early as possible while there are still places available.

How much is membership:
When you join, you decide how many sessions you want to play per month (5, 10, 15 or 20), and you pay £10.50 per session. There is an initial joining fee of £42 with your first monthly payment. Here are the multi session membership pricing options:

  • Multi session 5, you get 5 game credits per month, membership is £52.50 per month.
  • Multi session 10, you get 10 game credits per month, membership is £105 per month.
  • Multi session 15, you get 15 game credits per month, membership is £157.50 per month.
  • Multi session 20, you get 20 game credits per month, membership is £210 per month.

How do I book my place for each session:
Each month you’ll get given discount codes which you use to book yourself in to play. The discount codes are valid only for that month and do not roll over into the following month so please make sure you use them before the end of the month. This just means that you need to make your booking before the end of the month, but you can book a session in the current month or the next month.

Can I share the membership:
You can invite your partner, family, friends and work colleagues to play using your game credits, although they must personally fill in their personal details and agree to the Waiver and Terms & Conditions and other necessary requirements on the event booking form. If they give you written permission to fill in their details and agree to the Waiver and Terms & Conditions and other requirements on their behalf then that’s fine, but if you book several places using only your details then your bookings may be voided without notice and without compensation.

Extra games:
Multi session members do not get offered any extra games if we have space at other sessions. This benefit is only for the single session membership.

How does payment work:
Payments are due on the 14th of the month for the following month. Once we receive your payment, we’ll activate your discount codes within 7 days and they will expire on the last day of following month. So if the current month is July, your payment must be received by standing order (bank transfer) on 14th July for your August membership. Within 7 days we will activate your discount codes, and you can use your discount code from this day until 31 Aug when they will expire (at 11:45pm). If your payment is not received on time then your membership will end and you’ll need to re-join as a new member including paying the joining fee, so please stay on top of this.

Session closure:
If we’re unable to run any session then multi session members will be offered a game credit (valid for 4 weeks) only if they have already booked that session. There are no refunds.


CANCELLATIONS & REFUND POLICY

Our club policy is that there are no refunds. Payments are not refundable, payments are not transferrable to another person, and there are no alternatives offered. It is up to you to attend the sports sessions that you book. We understand that there can be things that get in the way like illness, injury or transport issues, and if you’re unable to make it then let us know as early as possible and this is what we’ll do… Once all of our empty places are filled then we’ll offer your place for other players to book. Only if we’re able to fill your place then we’ll let you know and will give you a discount code (valid for 4 weeks) to play an extra game for free. You can do this only once per calendar month, meaning that you can only ask us to try to fill your place for one session per calendar month. GET A DISCOUNT

Many companies contribute towards their staff’s gym and sports costs. Speak with your company’s HR department or your manager to find out if they’re able to contribute towards your sports membership or even pay it in full.


START YOUR MEMBERSHIP:

Send us a Whatsapp message or email and we’ll confirm that there are places available, and we’ll give you the payment amounts and the bank account details.

You’ll need to do the following:

  1. Make a one-off bank transfer payment for the remaining part of the current month plus the joining fee.
  2. Set up a standing order payment to be made on 14th of each month for the following month’s membership. E.g. payment on 14th May will be for your membership for the month of June.
  3. Complete the registration form.

Once these are done we’ll confirm your membership is active.


Sports Membership Terms & Conditions

  • You confirm that you are suitably fit and healthy for the sports activities that you take part in. If you are in doubt please speak with your doctor.
  • You confirm that you have adequate experience to play at the skill level that you’re choosing to taking part in.
  • You agree to comply with the General Safety details, the Covid-19 Safety details, and all other event-specific details on the event page for the activities that you’re taking part in.
  • You agree to adhere to our general Terms & Conditions.
  • You agree to take out your own insurance in case of injuries, including player-to-player injuries.
  • There are no games on bank holidays. If you have a Single Session Membership then after the bank holiday you’ll be given a game credit (discount code) which you can use to play at one of our other sports sessions or bring a friend to play.
  • There are no games during our 2 weeks Christmas closure. This is already factored into the cost and there is no reimbursement or game credits for this.
  • If you’re issued with game credits (discount codes) then you (or anyone you give the game credit to) must book in only at an appropriate skill level. You shouldn’t be dominating a low level game or failing to keep up with a high level game.
  • In all cases, you should check the event page on our website before coming to play each week in case there are any updates or cancellations. Normally there are no updates and everything is fine, but at the moment due to Covid the venues may need to make changes at short notice.
  • If you won’t be attending then you don’t need to let us know. However if you do let us know then we can manage numbers for the benefit of the other players.
  • Any game credit (discount code) that we issue for a cancelled session will be valid for 4 weeks. You can book a sports session that runs on any day, but you must make the booking within 4 weeks from the date the discount code is issued to you.
